When senior leaders first talk to me, they're in a challenging place
They and their team have been through a tough time. They’re facing ongoing challenges. Performance and results have suffered, and potential is unrealised. They know they need to work on their culture, rebuild basics and reconnect to get the best out of their people again.
Senior leadership team development helps leaders step out of this mess and step up to new levels of success. One-to-one coaching supports leaders to be the best they can be. After leaders work with me, there’s a realness, clarity and authenticity. They relate better to each other, feel deeper trust and commit with purpose.

Keynote speaker, facilitator & MC
Inspiring leaders and moving people to realise more of their potential.
"We chose to work with Angus because of his personality profile, obvious energy, and expertise for his art. It’s rare you instantly go, ‘Aha, this person really gets it and has a level of passion for it that you don’t often see.'"
Nicola Borlase, General Manager People & Culture, Fulton Hogan
Working with me isn't your usual corporate snoozefest
Reveal tough truths
Realising potential starts with honesty, yet honesty is hard and confronting. It’s also the ultimate gamechanger. So, I only work with teams ready to get real.
Get uncomfortable
This isn’t superficial work. This is about helping people be better humans. I hold your team safe in discomfort till they have the breakthrough they need.
Slay corporate BS
After 25 years developing leaders across seven industries, and four years running my leadership practice, I’m not here to tick pointless boxes.
"There were two valuable outcomes from working with Angus during Deloitte’s CFO Vantage programmes. First, his impact on the cohorts, their learning journeys and their careers. Second, his impact on me, how he helped me on my own journey. I feel lucky that we've had the opportunities to work together."
Jayesh Rama, Co-owner Nimbl Consulting
My promise to you and your leadership team
To be a better human, you must take responsibility for yourself. That isn’t easy. We've all got our shit to deal with. I promise you can go there with me and trust me to have your back, no matter how messy it gets. With vulnerability and discomfort come clarity and freedom to be your best.
I’ve always been obsessed with how people work
Youngest of five kids with a ten-year gap, I grew up practically as an only child in an adult world, with parents who loved connecting and serving others, and an unquenchable thirst to understand how people work.
That fascination led me to a career in HR. I’ve 25 years expertise developing high-performing leaders and teams across seven industries, and I’ve coached hundreds of leaders through the challenges of change.
I first got the power of leadership development early in my career, when a boss said, “You’re ticking all the right HR boxes but if you support people’s learning, your impact will be transformative.” Then, as I became a leader, I learned it’s lonely at the top. Leaders need real support so they’re not alone.

Before we work together, you should know
I’m not for you if you’re not serious about stepping up
Things like purpose and values are often perceived as fluff. And I get it. It’s hard to draw a direct line between culture and your bottom line. But the art and science of human performance shows us it’s the fundamental of success.
Performance programmes fail when they ignore the human element and tick boxes instead
Leaders say nonsense like, “Let’s quickly get through the culture stuff at the start of the meeting before we get on with the real work.” Culture is the real work. There’s a reason why businesses avoid the fundamentals of excellence. They’re hard to get right.
If you’re serious about success, you’ve got to love the hard
I’ll put your leaders through a high-impact programme with follow-up to keep them honest, human, and on task. This is not for the faint hearted. It might be the most confronting human potential development you’ve ever done. That’s why it works.
"You don't bring a disruptor in to not disrupt. What Angus did was quite remarkable. He got right down to the emotional side of purpose and values very quickly. I think he’s so talented, with such a depth of experience and just smart. I’d encourage anyone to get off the fence and work with Angus."
Anna Morris, General Manager People & Culture, Steel & Tube
